Panel discussion around opportunities for contract negotiations with built-in price protections.  Whether you are considering a large software or hardware maintenance purchase, how can you best protect you institution from future gouging without committing to a contract longer than your career-span? Discussion will focus on opportunities that exist, including what other institutions are doing through the HESS or other regional consortia, or potential desire to consolidate efforts going forward.
